This week, Jonathan is joined by Shahram Kordasti, Associate Professor in Applied Cancer Immunopathology at King’s College London, UK. In this episode, Kordasti discusses the immunobiology of Myelodysplastic syndrome and Aplastic anaemia, the role of CD4+ T cells in myeloid malignancies, and how cutting-edge computational tools are enhancing treatment strategies.

Speaker Bio:

Shahram Kordasti is Associate Professor in Applied Cancer Immunopathology at King’s College London, UK, and leader of the i4MDS consortium, a research initiative focused on advancing immune monitoring in Myelodysplastic syndrome. His research explores the immunobiology of haematological diseases, with a particular focus on the plasticity of CD4+ T cells in myeloid malignancies. He is passionate about advancing the understanding of the immune system in haematology and cancer immunology to improve patient outcomes.
