In January 1973, the 11 year old marriage between
Jordan's King Hussein and Princess Muna, former
British secretary Toni Gardiner, ended in divorce.
Within three days the King had married a third time,
24 year old Alya Toukan, member of a prominent
Palestinian family from Jordan's West Bank. In this
exclusive interview, the King and his new bride talk
about themselves to Peter Snow, author of a recent
biography of the King.
