The Boar's Head Carol - The Christmas Revels 2021

Happy Thanksgiving to our Revels community! We hope your Thanksgiving tables are surrounded by loved ones and filled with food as delicious-looking as this Boar's Head dish!

This rendition of the Boar's Head Carol was performed in Harvard University's Sanders Theatre during our 2021 Christmas Revels. Considered a seasonal delicacy, this dish
is elaborately prepared and served at
The Queen’s College, Oxford, as this carol
is sung. The words, which date back to
at least 1521, translate as “I bring in
the boar’s head, giving thanks to the Lord.” Featuring soloists Wei-En Chan, Barbara Allen Hill, and Matthew Wright, alongside the Revels Adult Chorus.
