13 vw Passat TDI engine, customer complaint is a check engine light, veh has multiple faults stored for nox sensor, the nox sensor is used for the diesel exhaust after treatment, nox sensor looks like an o2 sensor but it detects nox and reports to the ecm, the ecm takes this input and varies how much adblue or urea is injected into the exhaust to correct this nox and turn it into nitrogen and water (chemical reaction), one quick note is always check the basics!
