First, gather your ingredients: raw cashews, a rich blend of spices including black pepper powder, chaat masala, garam masala and dry mango powder. You’ll also need some salt both common salt and black salt & little bit of asafoetida, a drizzle of oil or ghee and a touch of chilli powder if you want to make it extra hot.
Start by roasting the cashews in a little desi ghee or oil until they’re slightly brown on medium to low flame. This enhances their nutty flavour and gives them that perfect crunch.
Transfer the cashews to a bowl & mix the spices. Once the cashews are ready, toss them in the spice mix. Make sure every nut is coated with that fragrant blend. The aroma will be irresistible.
