In this video, I’ll be finishing up the decor in my last two spaces for fall. With my fall home tour on the horizon, I’m eager to make my home feel warm and inviting for this season of gratitude. I’ve added beautiful touches of dried elements with an antique vibe, and I’m thrilled with how it all turned out!

I also want to share my excitement about a gorgeous side table I received from my best friend Ashley. I can’t wait to refinish it and style it for the fall season! Additionally, I’ll be doing some fun DIY projects, including a cozy autumn candle and a mod podge pumpkin.

CANDLE INSTRUCTIONS:

To make a candle, you can follow these steps:

Prepare: Choose a heat-resistant container, like a jar, votive holder, or tin can. Clean and dry the container, and place it on a flat surface.

Measure: Use the container as a measuring cup to fill it twice with wax flakes or shavings. Melted wax takes up less space.

Melt: Pour the wax into a double boiler and heat slowly until melted.
Add fragrance: Stir in fragrance oil or essential oils.
Add wick: Center the wick in the container using a wick centering tool or glue dots.

Pour: Lower the heat to between 125°F–145°F, then slowly pour the wax into the container.

Cool: Let the candle cool, set, and cure.

Light: Once the candle is cured, you can light it and enjoy.
You can also use a candy thermometer to monitor the temperature of the wax. Depending on the climate, you may need to adjust the pouring temperature.
