The path unfolds through the captivating Ropojan valley, nestled within the “Bjeshket e Namuna”, encircled by majestic peaks. Each step is a testament to the wild beauty of the Albanian Alps, where the landscapes stand tall as guardians of nature’s secrets.

Passing through the abandoned katun Zastan, the journey leads into a lush forest, heralding the beginning of a challenging ascent through meadows towards the Brija e Bunit pass. This climb opens up to an alpine panorama of unparalleled grandeur, with the formidable Rosi mountain dominating the view.

Upon reaching the Rosi pass, I crossed the border for the last time during this incredible journey, entering Albania. The sight that greets me is nothing short of breathtaking: the picturesque Valbona valley, cradled between towering peaks, stretches out before my eyes, marking the journey’s triumphant conclusion.
