Judy Garland Museum, Minnesota Mining Museum, Bois Forte Heritage Center (Rapid Recap #12 Ely, MN)

After spending some beautiful time camping on the shore of Cass Lake, I began wandering toward Ely, Minnesota. I made many stops on the way, including a crazy liquor store and the Cass County Museum in Walker. I sat in the palm of Paul Bunyon, climbed around some massive mining equipment, and was reminded of Judy Garland's extraordinary talent and graceful humanity.
