On the 75th anniversary of the Constitution, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Parliament, criticizing the Congress and the Nehru-Gandhi family for making multiple changes to the Constitution. He accused Congress of repeatedly violating the Constitution for political gains, citing the 1971 constitutional amendment, imposition of Emergency, creation of Article 370, and the National Advisory Council.
