Join us as we explore this $3,000,000 abandoned mansion for the second time. Many things have changed since my last visit, and many new things were found along the way. This mansion has gone through a multitude of owners with the most notable being R.A. Jackson, a railroad attorney during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Sold to an oncology professor in New York in 2016, the property sits decaying today due to lack of maintenance, salt air from the nearby beach, and vandalism.

History:

Built in 1928, the property was owned by prominent railroad attorney R.A. Jackson until he passed away on April 29, 1934. Soon bought out shortly after his death, the property remained with owners until 1950, when the owner passed away leaving the property to his wife and children after his passing. Sometime in the 1950s, following the death of the second owner, the property was again sold but this time to a car dealer. The property was kept under good care for many years, maintaining its glory for the next 4 decades. In 1990, the car dealer then passed away which left the property to the car dealer's wife. The property maintained upkeep until 2016, when the wife then passed away which put the home on the market and the following year the property was sold to a professor of oncology in New York. Though owned, the property remains abandoned and deteriorating from the elements.
