In 2019, we had some visitors from the European delegation visit our longhouse in Bario, Sarawak.
Landing in Bario airport in a small twin otter plane, the flight is less than one hour, but you have to make a booking on MASWings before hand.

Bario highlands is located in the Ulu Baram area of Sarawak, near the Kalimantan (Indonesia) / Sarawak (Malaysia) border, very much south and inner land of Brunei.

Kampung Bario is famous for bario rice, bario salt, bario cinnamon, and many other food and especially for it's kind and friendly people.

Home to the Kelabit people. A trip to Bario will definitely fill you with Kelabit culture, Kelabit food and a real sense of home.
