Welcome to my Arcanist PVE Tank guide for update 40. This is my breakdown of the Arc tank from my personal tanking experience. The Arcanist, since its release has become my favourite tank to play on. It feels very easy and fun to play and is incredibly capable for all PVE content.

**I miss spoke about bastion in the CP section of the video, it gives an increase effectiveness to our damage shields, not a reduction in cost. The cost reduction CP is Shield Master.

I haven't gone into detail about specific sets because this will vary largely depending on content. However some possible sets that you may want to run are below.

5 piece sets:
Yolnahkriin (Minor Courage) - Less needed on an Arcanist.
Saxheel Champion (Major Force)
Turning Tide (Major Vulnerability)
Powerful Assault (Unique Damage Buff)
Pearlescent Ward (Unique set buffs based on living group members)
Crimson Oath (Penetration)
Olorime (Major Courage)
Drake's Rush (Major Heroism)
And many more....

Monster sets:
Nazaray (Extending Debuffs)
Archdruid (Major Vulnerability)
Magma Incarnate (Minor Courage and Resolve)
Earthgore (Healing)
