This AOE2 Franks Double Castle Drop Into Siege Build Order is a great strategy for Arena, Hideout and Hillfort. It involves producing Throwing Axemen from 2 castles and adding Mangonels.

This Age of Empires 2 build order is quite an intermediate to advanced build order that includes a fast castle and then dropping 2 castles at your enemy base as soon as you reach the castle age. You follow this up by constantly making throwing axemen until you have around 16-20 of them before adding siege. I usually like to get around 4 mangonels and then either add more throwing axemen with pikes or start to add stables for the hard hitting frank knights.

This AOE2 build order can be really strong. The throwing axemen will rip down buildings once they have arson and the mangonels will clear up any counters that the enemy makes, such as crossbowmen or mangonels. The Throwing axeman should deal with knights ok, especially with the protection of 2 castles but if you do face knights, it would be good to add your own knights or probably pikemen are the better option as you will already have a barracks and you will not use up as much gold and will already have all the unit upgrades that you need.

6 Sheep
4 wood
1 boar lure boar
1 to make to houses then to berries
4 berries, start pushing deer
1 to boar
6 to stone
2 to wood
2 to gold
CLICK FEUDAL AGE

make 2 farms with weak villagers

FEUDAL AGE
make blacksmith and market
2 new villagers to wood
move 2 from sheep to stone
CLICK CASTLE AGE

research double bit axe
Move 8 from stone to enemy
Move 2 from sheep to enemy
make farms with remaing sheep vills
Berry villagers to stone
collect 976 stone then to farms

CASTLE AGE
Loom
make 2 castles, then split to wood and gold
New vills to farms - get 20 farms
add workshop and make mangonels
