In this video, I discuss the difference between stitching chisels and lacing chisels and why I use the chisels that I do.  I hope this helps you in selecting leather working tools. Stitching chisels are very useful in my craft. While I do not use lacing chisels to prepare for leather lacing, I do find a use for them. Lacing chisels can help in lots of projects and actually make saddle stitching easier because of the shape of the hole created.
