Graphics:
You'll notice that 83/1 has the previous graphics package. Unfortunately Pirna decided to jump on the battenburg wagon instead of focusing on better emergency light setups.
Notice a new but (unfortunately) too small detail - the EMS logo in the back. From what I can tell it resembles some local landmarks and reads (translated) Emergency Medical Services - Bad Gottleuba - Pirna - Bad Schandau (the cities that belong the Pirna district of the German Red Cross). Personally I think there are so many better options for the graphics. Especially since Pirna is also referred to as the gate to the Saxon Switzerland - one of the most beautiful areas and national parks in Germany.
Blue lights:
Speaking of emergency lights the new 83/2 misses the mirror lights and important proper synchronization of the lights in the lower front. The reason for the missing mirror lights may be due to a new and utterly stupid law that prohibits more than 2 forward facing lights in the lower front.
Martin horns:
Also notice that the 2-tone martin horns are now installed below the bumper. They're a bit quieter and sound duller. You can also hear the noise echoing from the bumper.

Which do you prefer, 83/1 or 83/2?

Einsatzfahrt des neuen Rettungswagen 83/2 vom DRK Pirna.
Zu allererst ein paar Links der bisherigen 83/2:

Beklebung:
Der 83/1 hat die bisherige Standard-Beklebung. Leider entschied sich auch Pirna für battenburgs, anstatt die Blaulichtausstattung auf einen zeitgemäßen Stand zu bringen.
Neu (und leider viel zu klein eingearbeitet) ist auch ein schön gestaltetes Logo für den Rettungsdienst Bad Gottleuba - Pirna - Bad Schandau (bzw. DRK KV Pirna). Schade eigentlich, vorallem da Pirna (vollkommen zurecht) als das Tor zur Sächsischen Schweiz gilt - eine der schönsten Ecken Deutschlands.
Blaulicht:
Diesbezüglich fehlen dem neuen 83/2 die Spiegelblitzer sowie die wichtige Synchronisierung der Lichter in der vorderen Front. Der Grund für die fehlenden Spiegelblitzer liegt höchstwahrscheinlich in dem neuen absolut lächerlichem Verbot von 4 und mehr Frontblitzern. Ein genaueres (sprachlich unterlegtes) Video explizit zu dem Thema wird noch kommen.
Presslufthörner:
Die Hörner sind nicht mehr auf dem Dach, sondern unterhalb der Stoßstange installiert. Merkt man auch insofern, dass diese etwas leiser sind, sich dumpfer anhören und der Schall auch in die Stoßstange und nach hinten strahlt.

Nun, welchen bevorzugt ihr, den 83/1 or 83/2?
