Italy's most awesome climb? Colle Fauniera from Pradleves - Indoor Cycling Training

Описание к видео Italy's most awesome climb? Colle Fauniera from Pradleves - Indoor Cycling Training

Colle della Fauniera is one of the most beautiful mountains passes in Italy. It is also known as Colle dei Morti or Pass of the Dead. It has three approaches. The approach from Pradlèves is the most popular, but also the most difficult. The ride starts out in a beautiful gorge where you ride along a river. The cliffs that surround you are so steep that the sun rarely gets to this place. As you climb above the tree line you are met by a fairytale-like landscape. You are now in a wild and remote area. The road is very narrow, but the scenery is jaw-dropping and spectacular. At the top, you will see a monument which has been placed as a tribute to Marco Pantani, in memory of his epic climb on the Giro of Italy 1999. This is a true bucket-list ride, and one of the best climbs in Italy.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.
