QLRS 433-868mhz vs 1.2ghz video: Interference comparison

Описание к видео QLRS 433-868mhz vs 1.2ghz video: Interference comparison

The story behind of the idea of making this test is rather short. I've been flying with 433mhz QLRS system, but always felt some discomfort due to large sizes of 433mhz antennas, especially on the receiver side. When you fly long range, you just can't use monopoles or other kinds of relatively compact solutions, no, you have to use only full-sized antennas, dipoles i.e, especially when you want to get some extra range to be completely safe at maximum distances having reliable RC link. And here comes the first problem: you simply don't have enough space to put such an antenna on a quadcopter, esp. on a small one, 450 class or even smaller. Either it gets too close to your GPS antenna, either to VTX antenna and vice versa. There is a way to use smaller antennas - it's to move to a higher frequency, like 868mhz. But LoRa modems for this band are known to cause strong interference to 1.2ghz video link. So I decided to test again, is it still true or not, despite that a couple of years ago I had a really bad experience with TBS Crossfire that was literally killing my video link...
