Buddy Merrill is a fantastic guitarist and steel guitarist best known for his many years on the Lawrence Welk show. Few people know just HOW good he really was, and we are going to put a few clips on youtube to help set the record straight.

Here Buddy plays his blonde Fender Stratocaster. Buddy was one of the earliest Fender endorsers, and had several historically significant Fender guitars during the Welk show run. Why? Because Leo Fender was a fan, of course!
