Van Halen - When It's Love (GUITAR COVER)

I'm finally paying homage to where I got my username of bwmOU812... :|

Anyway I love this song, I could listen to this and Feels So Good on repeat till my iPod looses power. I would say I'm more of a Van Hagar era fan but that reflects more in the style of songs rather than which frontman I prefer. The songs have a more rounded production on 5150 and OU812 and although I appreciate Eddie's whacky guitar techniques he innovated, I prefer the songs where he holds back a bit. His solo on this one is great in that it's more conventional but still a bit out there.

Just to say a few words on Sammy and Dave. I think Sammy has an incredible range and rasp which has somehow defied the laws of ageing. His ability to reproduce some of the really high stuff live is insane. David Lee Roth has a certain charisma and energy that seems so natural and is perfect for a frontman. I'm subscribed to his radio YouTube channel and I could listen to him talk about anything all day long. A born entertainer and really insightful. :)
