There are nine rasas that depict different human emotions. "Ala" is an emotional drama short film centered around the asahya rasa (disgust emotion). It tells the story of a newly married couple, Arun and Vasudha, and the events that unfold between them. Disgust is a rarely depicted emotion in storytelling, and this is our attempt to step out of our comfort zone to explore a story in this genre and mood.
