The LEGO Elves storyline continues this year with dragons, and kids can play out the new adventures for Emily Jones and her elf friends with the LEGO Elves Queen Dragon's Rescue construction set. This 833-piece set, model number 41179, lets kids help Emily Jones and Azari rescue Elandra the Queen dragon from the Elf Witch's castle tower.

The backstory to this set is that the Elf Witch's minion, Dusti the fox, is guarding the captive Queen dragon in the castle tower. Emily and Azari must sneak in, find the key, and unlock the dragon's chains. But they've got to get across a lake of lava first.

The set features a two-story castle tower with bedroom and cave, an opening dungeon gate, a chain and shackles, and a ballista that shoots blasts of “poison”. Turn the hidden green crystal to make stepping stones appear over the lava. Then, push the lever to open the dungeon door and find the captured mouse from the Crystal Mine. Find the key in the fox's bedroom and free the Queen dragon from her shackles.

With this set, you get mini-doll figures of Emily Jones and Azari wearing capes, Dusti the evil fox, a mouse, and Elandra the Queen dragon. There is space on Elandra for two mini-doll figures to ride, and the dragon's mouth opens and closes, plus you can pose the dragon's head, wings, legs, and tail.

And there are a lot of accessory elements, including the Book of Dragons, a hood for Azari, an hourglass, a fish, a sack, a crystal element, potion, cheese, a key, and a diamond brick.
