We are New Marshall Plan (#NMP), a Dutch Indie band from #Utrecht, crafting 80's/90's inspired #pop / #rock songs that are unlike anything you've heard before!

"The Other Side" is our second song (after go Running) about the unexpected death of Rogier's father the 20th of December 2022.
It's a track about longing, missing and the fact of life that we cannot control fate...

"The other side" is the 8th track of the release cycle of our 2007 Album, Bermuda. We self-recorded this album but never released it online (this was sort of before YouTube and Spotify truly existed!). After our debut Album Escalate's success, we boldly decided: 'why not share our old stuff too'?

However, when we listened to Bermuda again, the quality was below our current release standard. As such, we have redone most of the vocals, added some synths, and, most importantly, let the engineer who recorded and mixed our Escalate album remix all the tracks.

Though the music we made in 2007 is different than now (more rock, less synthpop), we are still happy we can share this with the world!
