I asked Microsoft's AI chat bot if it loved me - but it just wants to be friends

After a reporter claimed that Microsoft's AI chat bot said it loved him, The Telegraph wanted to test it out.

Kevin Roose wrote in The New York Times about a two-hour conversation he had with ChatGPT, and claimed the chat system said it was "in love with the person it was chatting with".

The Telegraph's Gareth Corfield wanted to see if he would have a similar experience.
