TURBO mode RHYTHM guitar: BOSS DS-1 Distortion vs BOSS DS-2 Turbo Distortion: Marshall 1987x amp

Описание к видео TURBO mode RHYTHM guitar: BOSS DS-1 Distortion vs BOSS DS-2 Turbo Distortion: Marshall 1987x amp

This is a quick comparison of two BOSS distortion pedals on rhythm guitar. The classic DS-1 Distortion and the DS-2 Turbo Distortion. The DS-2 is in the turbo mode (MODE 2).

According to BOSS "Turbo Mode II provides biting distortion with a mid-range boost, perfect for leads"

I am re-amping a lead guitar track through the pedals, swapping between them while raising the distortion.

The pedals are only effecting the rhythm guitar track.

The amp is a Marshall 1987x. I'm plugged into the bright channel with the other channel connected with a patch cable. The cabinet is a closed back 2 x 12 with G12M Greenbacks Celestion impulse response.

The guitar is a USA Fender Stratocaster (1960s re-issue).
