The rice is cooked with coconut milk and fragrances and served here with a variety of sambal chili sauces with a variety of proteins like hard boiled eggs, anchovies and squid. 3. Laksa Mamu Famous Sungai Pinang (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Svd44TrcaVR2L...) - You’ll find many types of laksa in Malaysia, but one of the best is Penang Laksa, sour and herbal and with a torch ginger touch. Price - 6 MYR ($1.128)

4. 888 Hokkien Mee (https://maps.app.goo.gl/yumxKtCCUM6Jo...) - Penang has a large Chinese influence as well, and there are many Chinese influenced Malaysian street foods. Hokkien prawn noodles are very popular and that broth is loaded with the intense flavor of dried shrimp. Price - 13 MRY ($2.77) with the add-ons
