Roodekoppies - Commons

Cornelius decided to do a three day session at Roodekoppies.

On arrival it was said that a beautiful carp was landed near our campsite a few days before. There was a huge bank of grass Infront of the camp which showed a lot of fish activity. It wasn't long before the first run of the day was recorded. Although getting to the carp quickly in the thick grass bed wasn't going to be easy.
Camp was moved after the first carp was landed, knowing that fishing will be very difficult landing several fish.

The move made things a lot easier, although grass still made it difficult to land fish without the use of an inflatable boat.

One can clearly see why Roodekoppies is such a popular destination for specimen anglers. Due to the count and size of fish being produced.
