Steel & Steam: The Nevada Northern Railway

Short film exploring the story of the Nevada Northern Railway (www.nnry.com); a national historic landmark and 501c3 non-profit dedicated to restoring and preserving one of the most complete and authentic short line railroads in the United States.

I am a professional photographer and NNRY volunteer and my coworkers at Satellite Studio and I set out to make this piece in January 2023. We made multiple trips to the railroad in January and February to work with foundation employees and capture winter operations on the railroad.
