Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (GBA) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

Описание к видео Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (GBA) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Konami's 2003 beat 'em up game for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Played through on the normal difficulty level.

Personally, I find the first Turtles games on the GBA to be the last really good Turtles game. It's a fun, fairly lengthy, and sometimes challenging beat 'em up that most closely resembles Konami's original beat 'em ups of the early 90s. It's based on the TMNT reboot, but fear not, turtle fans of old - it's close enough that you probably won't notice most of the time (except for during the cutscenes).

Each of the turtles has a unique set of stages to battle through, and all of these are set up through a pretty cool (though sometimes way too long winded) bit of expository cutscene action. From there, anyone who played Turtles in Time or The Manhattan Project will feel right at home with the slightly enhanced move-sets. It feels classic all the way through, and the graphics - clearly showing the benefits of newer technology - look fantastic. The music is also great, even if it sounds a bit tinny and compressed at times.

While it'd be easy to gripe about the lack of multiplayer - it's a Game Boy, and was never really a surprise when GB games didn't support the link cable - there isn't much to complain about at all here. If you like 2D brawlers, this one is a pretty sure-fire win.
