Hotel 101 Fort Room Tour; 1 day at BGC; Venice Grand Canal Mall

So, it's been 8 years since our last airplane ride. We're supposed to only have a short airport layover on our way to Singapore.

But when Cebu Pacific moved our flight to a time where we'd miss our Singapore flight, I chose to rebook our CDO-MNL flight a day earlier.

So, this extra day in Manila was totally not part of the plan. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

--We got to meet Kae's friends living in Manila
--I got to meet my friend Michelle (also living in Mandaluyong area)
--We experienced BGC for the first time (uhmazing sight! Pasensya, walang ganyan sa Cagayan de Oro)
--It's my first time to use GRAB car (ever!)
--My first time to use my Osmopocket which I bought in 2022 pa
(So, pardon the shaky footages! I'll do better next time! haha)
--and many many more firsts!

Let me just say, I was so happy with Hotel 101 Fort. They had me at hello.haha

Seriously, they earned extra extra brownie points when they let us check-in early. Because all the while, I was expecting to just leave our luggage and bags at their counter while we stroll around BGC. So, I was happy when they let us check-in right away and leave our luggage in our very own room.

Their amenities:
-2 bathrobes
-2 slippers
-Mini kitchen sink, fridge, and microwave
-Toiletries, towels, hot& cold shower
-1 Queen size bed and 1 single bed (sarap matulog dahil naka EMMA foam!)
-We're on the 15th floor with city view, but it was not noisy
-They let us borrow flat iron and blowdry upon request at no extra cost
-Relatively a lot cheaper than the other hotels I've checked in with the same amenities.
-Very near BGC proper!
-They have a gym and a pool, but I wasn't able to personally see due to time constraints
