Paradise Valley Links, at Mount Rainier: Recreated in PGATour2k23

Paradise Valley Links, at Mount Rainier
Course Published as "Mt Rainier Paradise 1931" on PGATour2k23

Course was recreated using LIDAR data from USGS as the base topography data
Reference images, a chart of the course, and yardage descriptions were used to plot the lay out.

Much artistic license was needed as, very few images of the course exist.

Notes:
- In reality, the final hole was shorted to a 200 yard par 3, but I choose to extend it to the original plans
- There were likely fewer trees on the course, and perhaps fewer bunkers as well. There is one Image of 3rd green, and I used it as inspiration for the rest of the bunkers.
- The 5th hole is the correct length, but shifted about 75 yards from where it was on the outline. The location of the outline made very little sense for a golf hole, and it's location in the recreation, with it's green just beyond the 7th green, was perfect and I believe made sense, even if you had to walk back up the hill to the 6th tee.
- In PGATour2k23, it is very easy to drive most of the greens. If you wish to play it "as it was played" back in 1931, restrain yourself to a 5i off the tee.

Special thanks to The Northwest Hickory Players for uncovering this bit of history, and being the inspiration for making this course, they visited the actual site of the course.
