In this Let's Play series, we'll be listening to the entire book of Genesis from the Bible while playing Minecraft! We'll follow along as God creates the world, and as humanity falls into sin. We'll also see how God's plan of salvation unfolds through the stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.

This series is perfect for people who love Minecraft, the Bible, or both! It's a fun and educational way to learn more about the Bible and its stories.

*as an additional side note, this is my first experience with Minecraft, so this Let's Play will probably move a bit slow.

The book of Genesis is the first book of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament. It tells the story of the creation of the world, the early history of humanity, and the origins of the Jewish people.

Genesis begins with the story of God creating the world in six days. On the seventh day, God rested and declared the world to be good. God then created Adam and Eve, the first humans, and placed them in the Garden of Eden.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God and were banished from the Garden of Eden. After this, the world became corrupted by sin and violence. God sent a flood to destroy the world, but he spared Noah and his family because they were righteous.

After the flood, God made a covenant with Noah and promised to never again destroy the world by flood. God also promised to bless Noah and his descendants.

Genesis then tells the story of Abraham, who is called by God to leave his home and go to a new land. God promises to make Abraham into a great nation and to bless him. Abraham and his wife Sarah have a son named Isaac, who is the heir to God's promises.

Isaac has two sons, Jacob and Esau. Jacob is the younger son, but God chooses him to inherit the promises made to Abraham. Jacob has twelve sons, who become the ancestors of the twelve tribes of Israel.

The book of Genesis ends with the story of Joseph, who is sold into slavery by his brothers. Joseph eventually rises to power in Egypt, and he uses his position to save his family from famine.

The book of Genesis is a foundational text for Judaism and Christianity. It contains many important stories and teachings, such as the creation of the world, the fall of humanity, the Noahic covenant, the promises to Abraham, and the story of Joseph.
