Ruby Red is a family safe and mannerly well broke, 13 year old Missouri Foxtrotter mare. She stands 14.3 hands and is a rich, rich sorrel with a small star. She has an outstanding calm disposition and would make a great family or guest horse. As calm and sweet as she is she is not lazy or a deadhead, doesn’t require spurs and will not lag behind if a young or less experienced rider is aboard. Ruby has kind ground manners as she stands for bathing, clipping, fly spray, farrier work, saddling, mounting and dismounting. She will lower her head, flex and is extremely well desensitized. She will back from the ground or in the saddle. Ruby crosses water, bridges, ditches, whatever you ask. Nothing bothers her. She self loads or will gladly be led into the trailer and will turn or back out. She rides alone or in groups, in the front or in the back and is an experienced trail and camping horse. She high-lines and stands patiently at the trailer with no pawing. She pastures well with others and is a dream to catch. Ruby is good with traffic, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, you name it. She loves people and attention. She’s good with ATVs, dogs, and other farm animals and equipment. She has great patience with children of all ages and beginners. If you’re looking for a no maintenance required trail horse and an easy keeper with good ground and saddle manners and is a safe, safe and easy, easy ride, Ruby Red is your girl. She’s a true pleasure horse and is about as safe and bombproof as you can get.
