The Night Stalker 1972 Suite - Robert Cobert

Some of the music from the 1972 ABC tv movie, The Night Stalker. Based off of the unpublished novel by Jeff Rice about a Las Vegas investigative reporter, Carl Kolchak (Darren McGavin), who comes across a series of murders he believes to be committed by a vampire. The tv movie was so successful it spawned a sequel, The Night Strangler, and a short-lived tv series on ABC. Also numerous comic books and novels over the decades, and even a short lived reboot tv series in 2005. The original story and its various adaptations to the small screen would later inspire the X Files.

This suite composed of some of the music from the 1972 tv movie is by Robert Cobert and got release on the now out of print compilation cd, The Night Stalker & Other Classic Thrillers.
