New plant and harvester streamline grass silage making process | HORSCH AgroVation Farm | FS22 | #44

Welcome back to the HORSCH AgroVation Farm Timelapse. First, we need to take care of our cows by providing them with feed, straw, and hay. Once that's done, we head to our pellet production plant to load wood chips into the receiving hopper. Next, we move to the site where the equipment for processing wood into wood chips is located to complete the ongoing work.
After delivering the wood chips for processing, we turn our attention to the next task: harvesting grass silage. For this, we deploy our KRONE BIG M500 mower and the FENDT KATANA 650 forage harvester to the field. We create a sort of train where the mower leads, cutting the grass, and the forage harvester follows, picking up and chopping the grass. A VOLVO FH16 truck with a trailer loaded with the chopped grass accompanies the forage harvester.
During our work, we discovered that the forage harvester needed significant repairs. Therefore, we decided to replace it with a new model and purchased a KRONE BIG X1180. To process the grass into silage, we constructed a modern FIELD PRODUCTS FACTORY, which will also be capable of processing other agricultural raw materials.
