Blower Motor Not Working In All Speeds? OBS Ford F150 Blower Resistor Replacement

Ever since we got our 1995 Ford F-150, the lowest speed of the blower motor hasn't worked. Even though our truck has a ton of miles and seat time on it - I bet it's the blower motor resistor that has actually failed and not the knob/switch.

The heater resistor is located under the ac accumulator attached to the underhood HVAC box. Two 8mm screws hold it in and once those are out you can inspect the coils for damage. Remember to check the pins and the wiring harness pig tail for damage too. I replaced it with a MOTORCRAFT YH1698 (4C2Z19A706BA) because I've had bad luck with generic parts store stuff over the years.

Once the corroded pin was removed from the harness and cleaned up - I installed the new resistor and now the blower motor works in low, low medium, medium high and high.
