Chargent Anywhere - Accounting Team Setup

In this video we will show you how to limit visibility to Chargent Anywhere so only your accounting team has access to it. WHY DO THIS? This will help you if you want to have only your accounting team bill clients and collect payments and prevent other departments from using Chargent Anywhere and running a transaction.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN, KNOW THIS:
1. Make sure you have Chargent Anywhere configured on the desired object.
2. Remember, Chargent Anywhere can be configured to work with any Standard or Custom Object in Salesforce.
3. There are multiple ways to control Chargent Anywhere's visibility, but you should discuss internally to find what works best for your company.
4. For this example, the Chargent Anywhere component will be on the Opportunity Object and configured to take advantage of Dynamic Lightning Page functionality using filter conditions.

THE STEPS:
1. Navigate to an Opportunity record.
2. Click on the setup gear
3. Select Edit Page. This will open the Lightning App Builder.
4. Select Chargent Anywhere to access configuration settings for the component.
5. Go to the Component Visibility properties at the bottom and Select Add Filter.
6. There are three options under Filter Type. Select Advanced.
7. Under Field, select User, then Profile, then Name.
8. For the operator, select Equal
9. For Value, type "Accounting".
10. Click on Done to apply the filter.
11. The Chargent Anywhere component now has an orange icon, which indicates that one or more filters have been applied to it.
12. On the lighting page, click Save.

RESULTS:
You have now completed the setup. Now only Salesforce Users with the Accounting Profile will be able to view the Chargent Anywhere Lightning Component.
