Nature study links Modi govt's Swachch Bharat Mission, toilet-building to falling infant mortality

A new Nature Journal study shows the Swachh Bharat Mission by Modi government helped avert 60,000-70,000 infant deaths annually between 2011 and 2020, improved sanitation, reduced open defecation, and played a key role in reducing child mortality.
