Описание к видео [J.JTimes] Flattery Diplomacy’: World Leaders Rush to Praise Trump

‪@J.JTimes‬
Today’s story might surprise you.
Would you believe flattery has become a key weapon in global diplomacy?
World leaders are lining up to praise former US President Donald Trump.
But why?

According to The New York Times,
flattery, once a discreet diplomatic tactic,
is now openly used on the world stage in the Trump era.

Take Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for example.
He recently handed Trump a letter nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize,
saying, “He’s building peace right now and fully deserves the Nobel Prize.”
Trump responded, calling it “very meaningful” and thanking Netanyahu.

And it’s not just Israel.
Pakistan officially nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize last month,
citing his diplomatic intervention during the India-Pakistan conflict.

Even NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte joined in,
praising Trump’s strike on Iran’s nuclear sites
as a “decisive and truly special action.”
He even sent a message comparing Trump to a “strict daddy,”
which sparked controversy for its excessive flattery.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney,
who once called Trump a “bully,”
has also recently praised Trump’s leadership.

And surprisingly,
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky,
who once clashed with Trump at the White House,
now starts almost every statement by thanking the US

The New York Times says this wave of flattery
is the result of leaders carefully studying Trump’s personality.
Even without guaranteed benefits,
praise is seen as the best way to win Trump’s favor
and gain diplomatic leverage.

Experts note that flattery has become more open in today’s diplomacy.
With every message potentially made public,
world leaders are playing the flattery game openly
and it’s already reshaping global politics.

So, how might this “flattery diplomacy”
reshape the world order?
If Trump returns to power,
the global diplomatic scene could be transformed once again.
