Rango: Existential masterpiece or pseudo-philosophy?

In this video, I analyze various existential themes explored in the movie Rango. I focus on four different themes found in existential work, namely, 1) our quest for authenticity, 2) confronting our own mortality, 3) the human condition (freedom and responsibility), and 4) religion (i.e., our proclivity to believe). Watch the video to find out if Rango is truly an existential masterpiece, or whether it is just a fun movie, that ultimately fails to provide us as the viewer with enough substance, making it pseudo-philosophical, rather than truly meaningful.
