McAllen ISD, Sames Auto Group promoting perfect attendance in school

A strength of McAllen ISD rests in its partnerships. And now, Sames Auto Group has teamed up with McAllen ISD -- a first for the Rio Grande Valley. Sames Auto Group is thrilled to announce the expansion of its Drive Sames 4 Education perfect attendance program to the Valley.

McAllen ISD students who achieve perfect attendance during a six-week period during the school year will have an opportunity to win a brand-new Ford vehicle, courtesy of Sames McAllen Ford. This inaugural event, held Sept. 19, 2024, kicked off the collaboration between the Sames Auto Group and McAllen ISD, celebrating the first year of their long-term partnership with the goal of increasing attendance across McAllen ISD High Schools. The drawing for the winner of the vehicle will be in May, 2025.
