Orchid Beach, Fraser Island

We are a long way from anywhere located about 80kms up the Fraser Island Coast. This remote post of Orchid Beach is a welcome sight for people looking for fuel, bait and ice cream or just someone to talk to. With Marloo Bay stretching out in front of us towards the Coral Sea It’s easy to see why people come here to rent holiday houses. The fishing up this way is unbelievable and what about the…dare I say it…serenity!
