Gran Turismo 1: Best Starter Cars

I did Gran Turismo 2 and 4, now for my list of best starter cars in Gran Turismo 1. As said in the video, I made this list shorter than in the other videos due to the less choices in GT1. With my list, I forgot to mention something in the video. You can basically get a decent start in GT1 with almost any car available at the start. Really, I tried multiple cars when creating this list and I managed to win sunday cup with almost all of them. The only car I struggled winning with was the Eunos Roadster.

Next, when I was testing cars for starter cars; I was using only spot races and Sunday Cup as a reference for a great starter car. The reason for this is that Sunday Cup is really the only main career event to worry about at the start. I mean, you win 3,000 cr per race, 15,000 cr as a championship bonus, and the prize car is worth 12,000 cr. Between all of that, you're getting 36,000 cr. That's enough to upgrade your current car to a competitive level or buy a faster car like a used Supra RZ or Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

Another thing you might notice is some text stays on the screen longer than others. I'm experimenting a bit more on text length. In the past I would leave 2 lines of text on the screen for 3 seconds, now I'm trying for 5-6 seconds for 2 lines or 3 lines. To note, this list is for the Greatest Hits Version sold in North America.
