I start the new year with a new Bach video.
This time, the challenging Prelude from his 2nd cello suite. I listened to many different versions by major cello soloists and noticed numerous personal nuances in their approaches. Therefore, I decided to follow my own instincts.
I've attempted to adapt it for the bass trombone without losing the original style that Bach might have initially envisioned.
I used the performing edition score by my friend Douglas Yeo for this video. I hope you will enjoy this.
