How I Shop Sustainably and Ethically in Vermont - With One Simple Method

The past few years has been a journey for me. Consuming mindfully is a practice, something we must remind ourselves of, and put into practice on a daily basis. It requires time and research. But it is this conscious, mindful lifestyle that inspires me so much. It helps to make the world a better place. When we chose to invite something new into our lives, it's important to do so with awareness. Today, I wanted to share with you my one simple method for shopping small, sustainable, and ethical here in Vermont and also online. I don't call myself an author because I don’t believe in labels.
I believe that story is art - that it's sacred, and that it is and has always been a force that changes and shapes our world. That's why I write, and that's why I create videos (even co-produced an environmental film). I consider the world my home, and enjoy submerging in unique cultures nearly as much as I love submerging in the ocean and riding the waves.
