Visit to sewing partners for locally produced PPE suits (June 2020) | VP Leni Robredo

In June, Vice President Leni Robredo made a series of surprise visits to communities and businesses, which were part of the first batch of the OVP's local production of PPE suits and gowns.

Among those who took part in this initiative were family members of victims of extrajudicial killings, who are under an initiative called Solidarity of Orphans and Widows (SOW) in Payatas, Quezon City; as well as members of the Gawad Kalinga community in Smokey Mountain, Tondo, Manila.

Also part of the initiative are Solysal Corporation, Isadora Fashion Line, GTVL Manufacturing Industries, Inc., and Power Fashion, Inc. (affiliate of clothing brands Bayo, Unica Hija, and Viseversa).
