This video will teach you everything you need to know to get started with Mixpanel, one of my favorite product analytics tools.

First, you will learn the use cases of Mixpanel including the exact workflows I use with my clients.

Next, you will understand how the pricing works so you can estimate how much Mixpanel will cost you (and save you).

We will then jump into tracking plans, a critical prerequisite before you ever write any code. Do not skip this step as it makes everything else easier. After tracking plans, I will briefly go over the SDKs and share the best practices revolving the client vs backend tracking debate.

Before we jump into the reports, I will also give you the criteria for technical success and how to keep things simple. I have seen too many teams fall into rabbit holes trying to get data into Mixpanel.
