Snowy Campus Tour at Kangwon National University

Hello~ I think I will be busy for a couple of weeks so I tried to rush edit this vlog.

I am sharing with you a snowy tour of my first home in Korea, Kangwon National University. I met a lot of good teachers and friends here. The location of the uni is also good. It is near the Namchuncheon Station and a lot of great places.


As you know, Global Korea Scholarship covers the Korean Language Program. All scholars were assigned randomly to different language institutions in Korea. And I along with three more Filipino scholars were assigned to KNU. At first, I was really sad because I was assigned here and it is a province lol. But, this place has a lot of charms and good places to go.


Last 2011, I went to Korea as an exchange student and the university was located in Sokcho, Gangwon Province. Who would’ve thought that a decade after, I will be studying the Korean language for a year in a university located in Gangwon Province?


Life Update: Taking up Masters's degree in a different language is totally a whole new different level. This is so far the biggest challenge in my life. One year in Language School is just enough to keep me alive every day but it is not really sufficient in “academic” Korean life. I am just grateful that I have a lot of friends here in Seoul and in my graduate school who are really nice and helpful.
