Day 2 of my Section Hike NoBo (northbound) on the Colorado Trail. I completed Segment 27 - starting at Taylor Lake and ending at Hotel Draw Rd. - 19.8 miles total with 2,620 feet of elevation gain.
Most of the day was a beautiful ridge walk. Unfortunately, I pushed it too much Day 1 and came down with a bug. My husband met me at the road and I got off trail.
