Last week, we talked about how to effectively use the debugger to locate and fix bugs in a C/C++ program. Debugging can be complex, especially when dealing with non-obvious issues like undefined behavior, race conditions, or memory leaks that may not lead to immediate crashes. Sometimes, manually stepping through code to understand the program state and find such problems can be tedious.

In our upcoming presentation, we will explore an alternative approach known as Sanitizers. Sanitizers are tools provided by compilers like GCC and Clang/LLVM that insert probes into the code to check for specific runtime properties. These tools validate program correctness and identify potential security vulnerabilities, offering a more automated and efficient way to catch certain classes of bugs
