What's up Meta-Junkies! It's your friendly neighborhood gamer DavidEBeats and its time to go into some cool tactics and ways to effectively use your Golden Gun in PVP.

I only have one character, and thats an awoken Hunter. Its the same one from my D1 profile, and I am really attached to him. I love the Golden Gun, and I have played several hundred games of PVP already, and came up with some really cool ways to use it.

First off, I put my Golden Gun on the way of the outlaw, which shortens the overall time of the super, but gives you six shots with precision damage. But in PVP, trying to be precise with a super this short could waste it. The best way to get the most value out of your super is to aim for body shots, Golden Gun is a one hit kill either way. A mistake alot of people do is pop their supers in the middle of team fights. Bad idea. You're just going to get killed and waste your super. The best bet is to escape, take a knee, heal up, and get close to the enemy team in a position where they can't see you. Once they pop up on your radar, and you are behind cover, pop your super. Now they will start panicking, because they wont know where the gun of death is coming from. Now here's the good part.

You're going to want to NOT scope your gun. Golden Gun is best when its hip fired, and you will understand why in a second. The best thing to do - remember you have a very short time - is to pick the closest target to you. Hip fire a body shot. He should be gone, and you immediately target and hip fire onto the next target. Repeat until your super goes away. Next step is to immediately switch to an auto rifle, back jump and shoot your way out of the situation. Coming out alive is key to getting the full value of the Golden Gun. The idea is to come out of nowhere, get 2 or 3 picks and be gone again. Getting one with your gun isn't enough. You only get true value out of your super starting at 2 picks.

I played a PVP game where I got 3 picks with mines, and once I ran out of super I switched to my Origin Story and got one more.

As for other perks, you're going to want the scatter grenade. Its a great zoning item, to make sure that even if you die in a teamfight the enemy won't push the position and get the rest of your team. If you don't die, its a great way to keep the enemy back and set up a flank. The backdash is also your best friend as well. Always use it when you get hit, even once. It charges really fast, so there's no reason not to use it. Its the best way to stay alive a long time, and dying less than the enemy is how you win games.
